Model Descriptions

Model EMC01 converts 10Base2 (BNC) signals to 10BaseT (UTP).

Model EMC02 converts 10BaseT (UTP) signals to 10BaseFL (Fiber).

Model EMC03 converts 10Base5 (Thicknet) signals to 10BaseT (UTP).

(Or Vice Versa For all.) (4 choices of 10Base5 connection are available as options with EMC 03.)

Application Information

With the continual growth of your network, it is inevitable that from time to time you will need to change from one cable type to another in order to match different network segments. EtherCom’s EMC 01, EMC 02 and EMC 03 Media converters allow you to do exactly that and save the huge costs that would be associated with replacing existing network cable. Each unit has multiple diagnostic LED displays.
