ESR Series Switches

Ultimate Flexibility

This 8 port switch can be factory configured for any combination of TX & FX ports. The FX ports give you a choice of multi-mode ST or SC connectors and single-mode or long haul with SC connectors.

Although the most popular configuration is with 8 FX multi-mode ports, we recently supplied a unit to a customer where Ports 1 & 2 were TX; Ports 3 & 4 were FX, ST, multi-mode; Ports 5 & 6 were FX, SC, multi-mode; Port 7 was FX, SC, single-mode and Port 8 was FX, SC, long haul. As you can see the flexibility of this switch solved a lot of wiring problems with one box.

When ESR Series Switch is combined with our ESM41 & ESM81 switches it can be an excellent, fairly inexpensive solution in a campus environment.
